Interdisciplinary Studies, BA Health and Society Emphasis

36 credit hours

The Interdisciplinary Studies major is grounded in flexibility and customization, which allows students to choose emphases that provide a cohesive thematic framework to their studies and broad professional pathways upon graduation. The Health and Society emphasis serves students interested in the health care fields and draws knowledge from the disciplines of Psychology, Public Health, and Humanities, such as English, Philosophy, and Religion. The skills developed in the Health and Society emphasis will enhance students' confidence and expertise in communication and human care.

Students must complete their choice of two of the four concentrations, and at least 3 credit hours must be at the 30000-level in each concentration:
