HIS 21400 American Military History Since 1941
This course is a history of U.S. military involvement in the world since the end of World War Two. Beginning with WWII and moving through to the 21st century, this class includes Korea, Vietnam, US interventions as well as the Gulf War. Tactical, strategic, political, and economic contexts as well as technological developments are considered in attempting to understand the causes, conduct, and consequences of these armed conflicts. Not open to students with credit in MS 45000.
