EDA 70000 Instructional Program Leadership and Assessment

This course is offered periodically as a tutorial on an as needed basis. Students will be asked to construct a research-based paper which may be related to their dissertation topic or another topic of student interest. If appropriate, the paper may be used in the dissertation. This course is designed as an advanced level course for the study of educational program development, administration and supervision in accordance with the goals and outcomes of the Educational Leadership Program. The course provides a broad overview of the essential elements of educational programs, including curriculum, instruction, materials and program evaluation recommended by the various learned societies for educational administration. The major focus of this course is the enhancement of the students' understanding of the leadership roles and responsibilities of the school administrator in these critical areas.
