CJ 32000 Race, Crime, and Punishment
A comparative study of racial differences in offending patterns is the crux of this course which will focus on the overrepresentation of minorities in the criminal justice system. Possible causes, current research, government policies, initiatives, and laws will be explored and evaluated. This will be an interactive, discussion-focused course.
