MIS 34011 Advanced Visual Basic.NET Programming
This is an advanced course in which students will apply their knowledge of programming language using the latest version of Visual Basic. Topics will include the structure of the language, control structures, functions, data types, object-oriented programming, external data files, sub-procedures, accessing databases, and creation of multiple forms, including radio buttons, check boxes, dropdown lists, scroll bars, list boxes, and combo boxes. Emphasis will be given to writing database programs and to the creation of class modules.

Prerequisite
a grade of C or better in
MIS 34010 or CS 18400. Also required is the successful completion the Writing Proficiency Assessment (WPA) or
ENG 21000.
