REC 10200 Introduction to Recreation and Leisure Services

A course designed to provide a description and analysis of the total field of recreation and leisure necessary for an informed career choice. Historical and philosophical foundations of recreation and leisure as a profession will be explored with reference to the influences of recreation and park movements, technology, economic and community impact on leisure delivery systems.
