TA 31700 History of Costume and Fashion

(GE-Fine Art) This course is a study of social and cultural history and the resulting costumes worn by men, women and children from primitive times to 1900. Emphasis is given to the ways in which politics, economics and technology affected the changing silhouettes of each period.
