Requirements

A minor in gender studies requires 18 credit hours of coursework.

Two required courses:

GS 30000	Gender Theory	3

Four courses selected from the following options:

CJ 35005	Women, Crime, and the Law	3
COM 32700	Media Literacy	3
ENG 34200	English Romantic Literature	3
HIS 31500	History of Gender in America	3
PSY 31300	Psychology of Adolescence	3
PSY 36500	Human Sexuality	3
SOC 24000	The Sociology of Gender Roles	3

ENG 28004 Selected Topics: Gender Studies and Literature will also meet this requirement.

Additional courses may be substituted with permission from both the chair of the respective department and the chair of the Gender Studies Program.
