Liberal Studies, BA
The Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies is designed to prepare for rapid changes in American and world cultures and to give the student the necessary tools of critical thinking, perspective, and adaptability. The major allows a student to study a broad range of courses in the liberal arts and humanities, as well as the student's specific areas of interest. Students majoring in liberal studies will complete the general education requirements, 45-semester hours of core requirements (listed below), and a 1-semester hour capstone course. A total of 120 credit hours are required to graduate.
