NUR 35000 Healthcare Policy and Finance

This course provides an overview of policies that drive systems of health care in the United States. The impact of health care policy, organization, and financing on patient outcomes of cost, quality, and access will be surveyed. The role of the baccalaureate level professional nurse in influencing and employing policy to improve health care delivery will be identified and explored.
