Undergraduate U.S. Citizen and Permanent Resident Application
To be considered for admission to the university, an applicant’s file must include each of the following documents. Please note individual programs may have additional application procedures as communicated through the Office of University Admissions. Please review your program of interest in detail.

Current résumé.

A personal essay. A personal essay including why the applicant wishes further education, any long-term goals, or a specific experience in the applicant’s life. Note: Applicants who have earned greater than 24 credit hours of transferable coursework at a 2.0 or better GPA (on a 4.0 scale) from another college or university or a 2.5 or better high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale) may be exempt from this requirement.

Official transcript indicating graduation from the last high school attended or home school program. A copy of the student’s General Education Development (GED) certificate may be provided in lieu of the high school transcript. Students who earned college credits from another college or university must also submit official transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions as part of their application.

Some programs may require additional application materials. Students should review the program descriptions for more information by connecting with the Office of University Admissions.
Transfer students who have successfully completed 24 credit hours that are acceptable for full credit toward a bachelor’s degree may not be required to submit their high school transcripts. Students wishing to transfer credit from a regionally accredited institution should request official university transcripts sent to Lindenwood University.
