IMH 13200 Quantitative Management Applications

GE-Math This course emphasizes problem-solving skills in management and finance. Topics include simple and compound interest, annuities, discounts, installment buying, amortization, reading and interpreting financial reports, depreciation, taxes, insurance, and investments. Mathematical tools include solving linear equations, linear regression, and basic statistical models. The uses of tables, calculators, and Excel are stressed. A scientific calculator is required. Lab fee may be required.
