PHL 15000 Introduction to Philosophy

GE-Human Culture: Philosophy [GE-Phl-Rel] This course is an introduction to philosophy. Students will be introduced to the subject and methods of philosophy be a close reading of Plato’s Republic and Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics. Topics will include questions about the nature of reality, knowledge, ethics, and social and political philosophy. Only original sources used.
