French Minor

21-30 credit hours

The minor in French requires 21-30 credit hours (30 hours only if the student chooses to spend a semester studying abroad in France). Students with previous knowledge of French who place above the FRE 10100 level must take as many courses as needed to complete the 21 credit hours required for the minor. There are two options for earning the minor.

Option One:

Seven required courses (total 21 credit hours- three credit hours of which may be taken through summer study abroad in France):
