AAD 10050 Introduction to Web Design
This is a hands-on course designed to familiarize you with the development of web content guided by sound theoretical practices, written communication skills, design principles, adherence to current web standards, and user-experience expectations through simulated interactions with a client. You will create two websites throughout the duration of the course using primarily HTML and CSS, register a domain name, and secure hosting for their work. NOTE: No textbook is used in this course, but the cost of domain registration and web hosting is the responsibility to the student (expected cost between $24-$60 per year). This class may require the use of a virtual reality headset identified by the instructor.
