COL 10100 Professional Skills

This is a profession-based skills development course develop through the high schools to prepare students for a professional-based work experience, internship or practicum. Topics covered will include communication skills (verbal and written), resume development, interview preparation, networking skills and presentation skills. Students will have the opportunity to gain critical professional-based skills through exercises, case studies, seminars and discussions. Student must be a high school junior or senior enrolled in the high school’s Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) program’s Profession Skills course.
