GEO 10300 Human Geography

GE-Human Culture: Foreign Culture/Human Diversity Why do Americans eat a diet of mostly processed food in comparison to Bolivians’ diet of fresh, locally-produced meals? Why do the Finns have so much disposable income in comparison to Ethiopians? Why do some urbanites prefer the suburbs to the bustling Central Business District? These are among the questions you will investigate in Human Geography. Human Geographers seek to understand why human behavior varies over space. Through hands-on exercises, you will develop a deeper appreciation for the diversity, complexity, and interconnectivity of the human experience across the globe.
