SPMGT 37070 Sales & Sales Management in the Sport & Entertainment Industry

This course is designed to provide students with an introductory understanding of the various sales and sales management aspects of the sports and entertainment industry. The course provides students with the background knowledge and firsthand experience related to ticket and sponsorship sales, as well as box office management that will prepare them for possible career opportunities with professional teams, collegiate organizations, or opportunities available in the performing arts industry. Students will also understand the application of sales management and introductory financing specific to the sports and entertainment industry. Lab fee may be required.
