ICS 21300 Foundations of Information Technology
This course will give students foundational knowledge in the Principles of Information Systems topics that will provide insights into the challenging and changing role of the IS professional and will provide a set of core IS principles and concepts that prepare students to function more efficiently and effectively as leaders in the Information Technology industry. Therefore developing a solid foundation for further study in more advanced IS courses such as programming, systems analysis and design, project management, database management, information system security, big data and analytics. Lab fee may be required.
