FIN 42040 Investment Applications
This course allows the students to get hands on experience in stock selection and portfolio building process. Investment Applications is built on the theories and concepts taught in Principles of Finance, Investments, and Corporate Finance and tests students’ ability to manage a virtual portfolio. The students will learn to navigate the financial database EIKON, HOLT, TIKR, and practice the concepts learned in the foundation courses. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours.

FIN 32000 with an A or better;
FIN 32020; and permission of department head. Note:
FIN 32020 may be taken concurrently with FIN 42040.
