MTH 05100 Basic Mathematics
MTH 05100 is a computer-based course designed to prepare students for MTH 12100, MTH 14100, and MTH 14200. Topics include: order of algebraic operations, simplifying algebraic expressions, fractions and proportions, first degree equations and inequalities, functions and graphs, systems of linear equations, exponents, scientific notation, and quadratic equations. This course will not satisfy any general education requirements, nor will it earn elective credit (thus, does not count toward the 120 hours required for graduation). Lab fee may be required.
