STH 20000 Introduction to Scientific Research
This course provides instruction on scientific methods, basic research design, and statistical techniques commonly employed in various scientific fields of study. Students will also be exposed to practical experiences designing and completing a research project and developing their presentation and writing skills as it relates to scientific literature. A culminating experience for all students will be the completion of data collection and presentation on a scientific study in a field of their choice.This course is repeatable up to a maximum of twelve credit hours.
