Virtualization and Cloud Computing, BS
The Bachelor of Science in virtualization and cloud computing provides a wide range of courses for students interested in a career as a computer network architect. Computer network architects design and build data communication networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and intranets. These networks range from a small connection between two offices to a multinational series of globally distributed communications systems. Today’s environment requires those who are proficient in virtualization and cloud computing. Classes are taught by experienced professionals in the various areas. The Bachelor of Science degree in virtualization and cloud computing requires 57-semester hours of credit in the major beyond the general education requirements. The student will work with a faculty advisor to determine an appropriate sequence of courses from the following lists of nine credit hour clusters and individual three semester hour courses.
