MTH 15100 College Algebra

(GE-Math) Topics covered: functions and graphs, polynomial and rational functions, exponentials and logarithms, systems of equations and inequalities, sequences and the binomial theorem. The course is designed primarily for science and related majors and students seeking middle school mathematics certification. This course may be selected to fulfill a portion of the GE-Math requirement for business students and must be completed with a grade of C or better; any student majoring in a business discipline who does not earn a grade of C or better will be required to repeat the course and earn a minimum grade of C in order to continue in the business degree program.
