MTH 17500 Business Calculus and Applications
This course is an introductory course in calculus, with an emphasis in business applications. Topics include a review of exponential and logarithmic functions, interest, linear programming, limits, continuity, differentiation and integration. A graphing calculator is required. A TI-83+ is recommended. This course may be selected to fulfill a portion of the GE-Math requirement for business students and must be completed with a grade of C or better; any student majoring in a business discipline who does not earn a grade of C or better will be required to repeat the course and earn a minimum grade of C in order to continue in the business degree program.
