BIO 34800 Cancer Biology

This course examines many aspects of cancer biology including cell cycle regulation, evading apoptosis, growth signaling, angiogenesis, telomerase activity, replicative immortality, metabolic changes such as the Warburg Effect, and metastasis through EMT (epithelial-mesenchymal transition).  Students will use primary literature to develop a broad understanding of the components of cancer biology.
