HIST 21100 US History: American Military History through World War II
GE-Human Culture: US History/Government [GE-AmGovHis] This survey of American history traces the development of the United States as seen through the prism of American Military history. This course is a study of the role of the military in American life during war and peace from colonial times through World War II. Tactical, strategic, political, economic, and social contexts as well as technological developments are considered in attempting to understand the causes, conduct, and consequences of armed conflict.
