PARA 41100 Paramedic Field Internship

Students will perform as a paramedic on an advanced life support ambulance under the direct supervision of a licensed paramedic preceptor. Students will be expected to manage all aspects of a prehospital incident including scene management, patient assessment and patient management. Students will complete all field hours and competencies required for National Registry certification and Missouri state licensure as a paramedic. Evening and/or weekend classes may be required. Lab fee required.

Prerequisite

CPR certification, medical screening, current vaccinations, criminal background check, and drug screen. PARA 37000, PARA 38000, and PARA 41000. All prerequisite courses must have a grade of C or better.
