PARA 42000 Healthcare Supervision and Management

Same as AHS 44000, this course prepares the health professional to move into a supervisory or management role within the healthcare setting. The course will engage students in the functions of healthcare management, which include planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling. The course will include principles of supervision and management, authority and responsibility and effective communication. Employee selection, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary action will be explored.

Current Missouri State Paramedic License, National Registry Paramedic certification, or current enrollment in the Lindenwood paramedic program, or Paramedic Program Director Approval.
