REL 36100 New Religious Movements in America
GE-Human Culture: Religion (GE-HumCul:Rel) There are many different ways to be religious—or non-religious—in today’s world. We will study the emergence of New Religious Movements (NRMs), Secret Religious Societies, and alternative spiritual groups, as well as the development of those who claim atheism, agnosticism, or no religious affiliation (Nones) in the United States.

REL 15000 or higher) or permission of Religion department chair.
