Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art requires the following courses:
Studio Foundation
Experimentation
Nine credit hours selected from the following options:
Art History
Note: ARTH 22200 and ARTH 22400 may be used to satisfy the GE-Human Culture: Foreign Culture/Human Diversity [GE-CrsClt] requirements.
Art History Electives
Six credit hours selected from the following options:
Specialization
Studio Electives
Fifteen credit hours of studio electives numbered 30000 or above.
Capstone
The Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art degree also requires the following:
- A three credit hour DAN, MUS, or TA course to satisfy the GE-Human Culture: Arts requirement.
- Passing scores on periodic assessments of program-level student learning outcomes, including the Sophomore Portfolio Review (upon completion of ART 10600, ART 10800, ART 13000, ART 13600, and GD 12000).
