For students seeking K-12 certification in dance, the Bachelor of Arts in Dance degree can be combined with a Minor in Education. This program requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the following courses:

Special General Education Courses
The Bachelor of Arts in Dance with Minor in Education program also requires the following:
- A three credit hour ART, ARTH, MUS, or TA course to satisfy the GE-Human Culture: Arts requirement.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75 for all GE courses.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Passing scores on periodic assessments of program-level student learning outcomes.
