PHRL 21000 Logic
GE-Human Culture: Philosophy This course is an introduction to the nature of arguments and the criteria for evaluating and constructing arguments. Topics in the course include syllogisms, rules for definitions, informal fallacies, and the basic principles of propositional logic such as translations into formal language, truth evaluations, rules of inference, proofs, and refutations.
