SPMGT 47080 Sport Management Policy

This course is an advanced, capstone course that is designed to provide sport management students with a detailed understanding of the sport industry, sport organizations, careers in sport and the decision making principles involved in sport. The course emphasizes the research and communication skills necessary to be a successful manager in the sport industry, and provides students with the ability to evaluate business strategies in the sport industry and understand the business of sport in a global marketplace. Students will also understand the application of marketing and financing specific to the sport industry and discuss ethical decision making in the world and business of sport.
