COM 31800 Interactive Narrative

This course will encourage students to think outside of the constraints of traditional game mechanics and explore interactivity as a means of storytelling through LARPs, tabletop games, digital narratives, and text adventures. Students will create and publish several games and/or interactive narratives, utilizing professional and experimental processes. Students will become familiar with a wide range of interactive narratives, and be able to analyze and identify how interactivity can deepen the impact of storytelling.
