GE-Human Culture: Literature This course includes selected readings in English poetry, prose, and drama from the re-opening of the theaters in 1660 through the Augustan Age and the Age of Johnson. Authors may include Dryden, Defoe, Gay, Swift, Pope, Johnson, and Sheridan.
