ENG 23500 American Literature I

This course is a survey of American writing from the colonial era to the Civil War with emphasis on the diverse voices contributing to the uniqueness of the American literary scene even at an early stage.

Prerequisite

STU RDS ER/ENG 17000 with a C or better. English majors may take this class concurrently with ENG 17000.
