AAD 31100 Extended Realities (XR/AR/VR)

This course will introduce you to the continuum of Extended Reality (XR), including Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) interfaces, hardware and applications. Basic concepts of XR and its history are covered, along with an introduction to the most common head-mounted displays (HMDs) in use today. The course requires neither a special background in design nor programming experience. This class may require the use of a virtual reality headset identified by the instructor.
