AAD 35001 Digital Photography II

This course is an exploration of the advanced technical, digital photography techniques. Direct application of technical skills will be made through the exploration of photographic niches and exploration of professional opportunities in photography. Students will develop an appreciation of the historical and cultural significance of photography in art and culture as well as study photo theory and critique. Students are encouraged to discover their own photographic voice and develop a final portfolio with a defined vision and topic. DSLR or Mirrorless camera with full manual mode, RAW image quality, and lighting equipment required. Lab fee required. This class may require the use of a virtual reality headset identified by the instructor.
