EDL 56200 PK-YA: Literature at all Levels

Making book recommendations is an integral part of the librarian’s day. From knowing what to recommend next to a voracious reader or being able to suggest something high-interest to a reluctant reader, the librarian must have thorough knowledge of the library collection, as well as popular authors, book genres, and the latest craze in YA literature. This course will cover all levels of literature, as well as book awards, and promoting literature through book talks and more.
