FRE 41300 Twentieth-Century French Theatre

GE-Human Culture: Literature/Human Culture: Foreign Culture/Human Diversity [GE-CrsClt] This course will examine the theory and practice of 20th-century French theatre. Students will study the ways these plays reflect the historical context in which they were written and the concepts of various literary movements of the 20th century, such as Existentialism or the Theatre of the Absurd. Taught in French.
