SPA 41200 Spanish Romanticism

GE-Human Culture: Literature/Human Culture: Foreign Culture/Human Diversity [GE-CrsClt] This course presents the development of Romanticism from its roots in the 17th-century Enlightenment and Spanish cultural tradition to its triumph in the first half of the 19th century. The focus is historical and literary, concentrating on five principal authors and the analysis of several of their most important works. Taught in Spanish.
