The vast majority of media industries are fueled by advertising, a business which has as its goal the persuasion of potential clients to purchase products or services. This program of study teaches the principles and techniques of advertising.

Advertising and Strategic Communications majors must enroll in ASC 10800 Advertising and Strategic Communications Seminar (0) every semester with the exception of the semester in which they are taking an internship.
